The Hidden Highlights of france

HELLO YOU LOVELY HUMANS

Nice – The Facts: Nice is the capital of the French Riviera, skirts the pebbly shores of the Baie des Anges. The city today balances old-world decadence with modern urban energy. Its sunshine and liberal attitude have long attracted artists, whose work hangs in its museums. With vibrant markets and diverse restaurants, it’s also renowned for its food, and the food is AMAZING!!!

Villefranche-sur-Mer – The Facts: This is one of my favorite ports that i have ever been to, its beautiful !!  The bay of Villefranche is one of the deepest natural harbours of any port in the Mediterranean Sea and provides safe anchorage for large ships ( CRUISE SHIPS ) woop, reaching depths of 95 m (320 ft) between the Cape of Nice and Cap Ferrat; it extends to the south to form a 500 m (1700 ft) abyss known as the undersea Canyon of Villefranche at about one nautical mile off the coastline. A Nautical mile is what sea and air navigators use for distance.

Toulon – The Facts: Toulon is a city in southern France and a large military harbor on the Mediterranean coast, with a major French naval base. The Commune of Toulon has a population of 165,514 people (2009), making it the fifteenth-largest city in France. Toulon is an important centre for naval construction, fishing, wine making, and the manufacture of aeronautical equipment, armaments, maps, paper, tobacco, printing, shoes, and electronic equipment.

My View: I love going to France, because a cruise ship takes you into places that you never thought you would even visit. Paris is probably the most popular place. when i arrived at all of these beautiful ports, i didn’t even realise what country i was in! Spain?, Italy? I had never thought of France being such a stunning place. I guess it was probably because i had only ever been to Calais. I have lots more places to explore in France, such as Cannes which i am so excited to share with you all.

I tried snails for the first time on my last cruise they were in garlic butter (NOT BAD)!

ENJOY LIFE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL!!!!
